Eleanor Reisner

Eleanor H. Reisner, age 79 of Houghton Lake, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at Munson Medical Center in Grayling. The daughter of the late Seth J. and Elsie I (Weston) Powell was born November 16, 1938 in Bay City. On July 7, 1963, Eleanor married Charles Reisner in Garden Grove, CA. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1999 after 36 years of marriage. She loved watching games shows and collecting angels.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (David) Callum; step son, Brian Reisner; grandson, Jacob Callum; brothers, Harold and Larry Powell, sisters, Joyce Broom, Margaret Merchant, Delorse Nicholson, Beulah Bourland; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by her brothers, Ira and Roy Powell; and sisters, Barbara Lang and Bonnie Jellison.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Eleanor's life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service. The family asks that those who attend to please dress in casual cloths.
