Elaine M. Beck

Elaine M. Beck, age 74 of Sanford, passed away Monday, May 01, 2017 at Medilodge of Midland. The daughter of the late Floyd A. and Marie L. (Welch) Reger was born on July 30, 1942 in Midland. She enjoyed working outside and was the best green thumb ever, going camping and attended the Pentecostal Temple. Elaine lived for her family. She was the glue that held everybody together. Elaine was a proud American and supported the veterans in any way she could.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gary D. Beck; children, David Beck of Midland, Shari (Todd) Kerns of Sanford, Tammy Burton of Midland, Duane Beck of Georgia, and Teresa (John) Neuenfeldt of Sanford; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Deb) Reger, Rick (Kelly) Reger, Carey (Karen) Reger; sisters, Sharon (Terry) Blalock; uncle L.E. Reid. In addition to her parents, Elaine was predeceased by her son, Gregory Beck and a sister, Sandra I. Bartos.

Funeral services for Elaine will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 5, 2017 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Parsons of Pentecostal Temple officiating. Cremation will follow with inurnment to be in the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
