Dwight Lee Bauder

Dwight Bauder, beloved father, grandfather, husband and son peacefully went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 10th, 2025, at the age of 68 years old. He was born on December 12th, 1956, in Sanford to the late Lawrence Bauder and Dorothy (Perry) Smith. Dwight attended Meridian schools and went on to get his GED. Dwight met his wife while working at Bandeen's and they were married on April 3, 1982. Dwight worked at several locations within the Labelle Management restaurant industry over the years. He worked for Scioto for a few years before most recently working in the Deli at Meijer. Dwight enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was a dedicated fan of the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings watching whenever he had a chance.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lisa Bauder, daughters Tabetha (Kenneth) McFadden, Jessica Bauder and Angela (Tanner) Bauder. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren: Gavin, Arianna, Devon, Warren, Jackson, Logan, Rowan, Aiden, Brady, Mia, and Cameron. He is also survived by 8 siblings: Cheryl Moon, Bill (Marla) Bauder, Kim (Charlie) Fisher, Dawn (Jim) Thayer, Mary Durfee, Renee (Micheal), Shellene, and Robert (Tammy) Hoggard. He was preceded by his father Lawrence and his mother Dorothy.

Cremation will take place with a memorial service on May 17, 2025 at 11am at Wilson-Miller Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640. Visitation will be from 10am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, please consider the family.
