Durelle H. "Tom" Thomson

Durelle H. "Tom" Thomson, age 91 of Midland, passed away Friday August 27, 2021 at his residence. The son of the late Archie R. and Anne Mae (Hunter) Thomson was born in Carsonville, Michigan on February 17, 1930.

Surviving is his wife of 70 years, the former Alice M. Hirzke of whom he married on May 26, 1951; sons, Bill (Elissa) Thomson of Midland, Tom Thomson of Cumming, Georgia; grandchildren, Cyndie and Samantha; great grandchildren, Gracie, Emma, Dean Thomas.

Per the wishes of Tom, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at 12 noon Wednesday September 1, 2021 at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Family will receive guests at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Anyone planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider an organization of their choice.
