Duane Robert Bosman

Duane Robert Bosman, age 67 of Sanford, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center surrounded by family. The son of the late Leo and Adeline (Casier) Bosman was born October 1, 1953 in Trenton, MI. He married the former Mary Frey on October 21, 1978 and they have enjoyed 43 years together. Duane enjoyed cars especially Mopar, all things involved with microbore manufacturing, computers, RC boating, and space- real or fictional.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Bosman; sons, Christopher Bosman (Iniobong Ekanem) and Craig (Robin) Bosman; grandchildren, Elijah, Katherine, and Steven; siblings Dianne Weaver, Denise Porath (Richard), Douglas (Bonnie) Bosman plus many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Adeline Bosman; parents-in-law, Theresia (Peter) Frey; sister Donna Elliot, brothers David and Dannell; brother-in-law, Peter Frey; as well as numerous friends and relatives.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Our Lady of Grace – Sanford. Fr. Dan Fox OFM Cap. will officiate with private burial to take place in St. Agnes Cemetery. Family will receive guests on Wednesday from 4 -7 pm at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home and on Thursday at the church from 10 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund or to Our Lady of Grace Parish. Casual dress (jeans and boots were his favorite) please.
