Dorothy E. "Betty" Chambers

Dorothy E. "Betty" Chambers, age 80 of Midland, died Sunday afternoon May 2, 2010 at Brittany Manor. The daughter of the late Anthony and Sarah (Bassett) Myers was born in Midland on March 22, 1930 where she was raised and educated. Betty enjoyed playing cards, gardening, dancing and playing bingo.

Surviving are her children, Denise "Sis" Chambers-Fox (Norman), James L. Chambers, Gwen M. (Duane) Stanford, Jon D. (Terri) Chambers; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Leo Myers. In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by a son, Michael Chambers; granddaughter, Katie Chambers; brother, Robert Myers.

Funeral and committal services will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 5, 2010 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Betty's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to the family.
