Doris G. Pierson

Doris G. Pierson, 93, of Brittany Manor, Midland, Michigan, died Saturday afternoon, Jan. 23, 2010 at the Mid-Michigan Medical Center.

The daughter of Ernest and Mattie (Angel) Barney, was born in Trout Creek, Michigan on April 21, 1916, where she was raised and educated.

She is survived by her daughters, Fran (Lyle) Pomranky of Midland and Sharon Hawley of Plainwell, Michigan; grandchildren,
Kathy Pomranky and Becky (Stan) Clark of Midland, Lori (Kyle) Baker of Otsego, Michigan, Larry (Sandy) Pomranky of Ellenton, Florida; great-grandchildren, Shawn Clark and Eric Clark of Midland, Candy (Bob) Sittig of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Jamie and Angela of Otsego, Michigan; great-great-grandchildren, Angel of Otsego, Michigan and Bobby Sittig of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, four sisters and one grandson, Paul Hawley.
