Donna Jean Stark

Donna Jean Stark, age 76 of Midland, died Sunday evening August 24, 2014 at Brittany Manor.
The daughter of the late John L. and Eva I. (Hitsman) Rowe was born in Midland on April 8, 1938. Donna was a member and very involved with Floyd Church of God, The W.C.G., a historian for the church and had worked on the funeral luncheon committee since 1963. Her great grandmother was a founding member of Floyd Church of God. Donna enjoyed baking, bird watching, working in her garden, she was also a member of 4-H.
Surviving is her husband of 56 years Robert H. Stark of whom she married on January 25, 1958 in Midland; children, Robert Stark, Jr. and his companion Linda Groulx, John (Billy Jo)Stark, Susan (Michael) Willman, Kimberly (Paul) Donahue all of Midland, LeAnn (Keith) Mangan of Sanford; 27 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; brother, Kirk Rowe of Traverse City; sisters, JoAnn (Lynden) Phillips of Midland, Janet (Warren) Heath of Saginaw, Joyce Rowe of Harrison; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday August 28, 2014 from Floyd Church of God. Interment will follow in Lee Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Visitation will be at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Wednesday form 4 to 7 pm.
