Donna A. (Warmbier) Riggie

Donna A. (Warmbier) Riggie, age 87 of Midland, passed away at home surrounded by her family on March 22, 2026. She was born in Bay County on May 3, 1938, to the late Richard A. and Viola S. (Milner) Warmbier.

She married Charles Riggie on December 18, 1954, and together they shared 71 years together with many memories. Her memory will also be cherished by her children; Randy (Penny) Riggie, Rosie (Steve) Poindexter, Charles “Chuck” Riggie; grandchildren, Trina (Shawn), Allan (Ashley), Michael, Theresa (Jon), Tara (Justin), Travis (Nera), Ashley (Tevin), Emily, A.J., Chip (Katy), Chris (Tabitha); 13 great grandchildren; brother, Jim (Judy) Warmbier; and her beloved kitty, Torrie. In addition to her parents, Donna was welcomed to heaven by her son, Roger Riggie; grandson, Nathan Poindexter; and sister, Bunny Weber.

Donna was a lifelong member of Holy Scripture Lutheran Church where she enjoyed gathering for service and family events. When her time wasn’t filled with loving on her family, she enjoyed knitting, playing cards, puzzles and going to the casino.

A funeral service to honor Donna’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Holy Scripture Lutheran Church in Midland. Pastor Max Kerr will officiate with private burial to be in Homer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be offered to Holy Scripture Lutheran Church. The Riggie family is being cared for by Wilson Miller Funeral Home.
