Donna Charlotte Jacobs

Donna Charlotte Jacobs, loving mother, grandmother and friend, passed away August 15, 2023 at the age of 97. She was born in Cook County, Minnesota on March 6, 1926 to the late David and Reba (Merrill) Nordstrom. On February 11, 1950, she married Frank Jacobs and they spent 49 years together before his death. Donna enjoyed solving word searches and puzzles, playing Skipbo, and was a member of Amazing Grace Church in Wheeler.

Surviving are her children, Betty (Michael) Yedinak, Linda Strohpaul, Geraldine (Ben) Larson, Don (Noreen) Jacobs, Mary Ann Jacobs, and Nora Roth; 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren; and son in-law, George Lockhardt. In addition to her husband and parents, Donna was preceded in death by her children, Gerald Jacobs, Donna Marie Lockhardt, and Janet (Rocky) Rowell; sons in law, Paul Strohpaul and Ricky Roth, along with her many siblings.

To honor Donna's memory, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to either the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or to Amazing Grace Church in Wheeler, MI.
