Donna Jean Carmen, age 68 of Midland died Friday May 27, 2016 at her residence.
The daughter of the late Elmer and Lila (Comstock) Letts was born September 3, 1947 in Midland where she was raised and educated. Donna married John Carmen on May 30, 1964 in Midland and he predeceased her in 1980. Donna loved her grandchildren and enjoyed playing bingo and the casino.
She is survived by her daughters Donna (Ron) Simons Jr. of Midland, Lila (James) Walter of Coleman, Ethel (Cliff) Carman of Midland; twenty grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Ed (Evelyn) Comstock of Shepherd, William (Karen) Letts of Midland; sister Jenny Comfort of Midland; and her friend and companion for over twenty years Charles Barkley of St. Louis. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Jill Letts and Rose Letts. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers Floyd and Alvie Letts.
Funeral service for Donna will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Tuesday May 31, 2016 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
