Donald L. Marquiss

Donald L. Marquiss, age 71 of Midland died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Tendercare of Midland.

The son of the late Lester and Maggie I. (Sperry) Marquiss was born June 1, 1938 in Midland where he was raised and educated, graduating from Midland High School in 1957.
Don was a master mechanic and had worked at Bandeen Chevrolet from 1957 through 1968. He then worked at Bobitt Mobile Homes as a repairman until he retired. He was an avid hunter and trout fisherman.

Mr. Marquiss is survived by his son, Douglas Marquiss of Midland; Doug's mother, Beverly (Ackerman) Marquiss; brothers, Stanley (Elaine) Marquiss of Hope, Bill (Priscilla) Marquiss of Midland; sisters, Margarete Spitnal of Midland and Betty (Lloyd) Mudd of Midland.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Stauffer, Chaplain of MidMichigan Medical Center officiating. Interment will be in Midland Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Memorials may be offered to Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund.
