Donald Ingebrigtson

Donald N. Ingebrigtson, age 90 of Midland died at the MidMichigan Medical Center on Saturday, November 26, 2011. Don was born on December 19, 1920 in Wakonda, SD and was raised and educated in Yankton, SD. He served with the US Army in Europe during WWII. On November 28, 1948 he married the former B. Joann Murphy in Hobart, IN. Don graduated from Valparaiso University and completed graduate work at the University of Iowa, moving to Midland in 1953. Don retired from the Dow Corning Corp in 1967, as an Analytical Chemist. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed woodworking and collecting antique clocks.

Don is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joann. He is also survived by his daughters; Kimberly Hazelton of Mt. Pleasant, Julie Ingebrigtson of Memphis, TN and his sister Julette Magness of Arlington, TX

In accordance to his wishes, cremation services were provided by the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Memorials may be offered to the Humane Society of Midland County, P.O.B. 1034, Midland, MI 48641.
