Don E. Eddy, age 88 of Rhodes, MI, passed away on December 28, 2021. The son of the late Stewart and Ocea (LeVasseur) Eddy was born January 18, 1933 in Bay City. He was a Journeyman Tinsmith with Local 7-3 and GM until he retired in 1995.
Above all else, he loved the Lord and was an active part of his church ministry for his whole life. He always shared that passion and love with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors and encouraged a passion for hunting with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His home was always open to all who wanted to stop in. He cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Celestie (Drummond) Eddy; daughter, Anne Gary; sons in law, Kevin Gary, James Lambert, and Roger Osborne.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Lambert) Osborne; sons, Phillip (Ruby) Eddy, Norman (Brenda) Eddy, and Ronald (Angela) Eddy; 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; brother, Carl Eddy; and sister-in-law, Jean Eddy.
Funeral services for Don will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Midland Bethel Church of the Nazarene, 5441 N. Jefferson Rd. Midland, MI 48640. Visitation will be at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 – 6 pm and at the church on Monday from 10 am until the time of service. Private burial will take place in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin. Monetary donations can be made to Midland Bethel Church of the Nazarene in Don's name.
