Dolores L. Watts

Dolores L. Watts, age 89 of Midland, died Tuesday November 13, 2012 at MidMichigan Medical Center. The daughter of the late Douglas and Lillian (McLelland) Haskell was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on March 21, 1923. Dolores enjoyed dancing and loved animals especially dogs and cats. On November 28, 1940 in Midland Dolores married Robert Watts. He died on December 26, 2001

Surviving are her sons, Robert J. (Lois) Watts, Jr., Floyd L. (Karen) Watts all of Midland, Carl A. Watts of Birch Run; daughter, Suzanne Watts of Midland; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Clipper of Midland, Lillian Wright of Sanford; many nieces and nephews; friends Oral Mikols and Sandy Turk. In addition to her parents and husband Dolores was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Watts; brothers, Norman and Allen Haskell.

Funeral services for Dolores will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday November 16, 2012 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Pastor Jim Payne of Midland Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Midland City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
