Diane L. Espinoza

Diane L. Espinoza, age 63 of Hope, passed away Tuesday September 19, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The daughter of the late Francis R. and Louise M. (Fitch) Smerdon was born in Midland on August 27, 1954. Diane graduated from Meridian High School in 1972, went on to receive her associated degree in Science from Delta College and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Ferris State University. She then went on to work for Covenant Health Care for 25 year until retiring to become a traveling nurse and doing home health care. Diane enjoyed gardening, caring for her pets, painting, fishing and boating, traveling, but most of all spending time with her family.

Surviving are her sons, Jason Espinoza, Justin Espinoza, Kelly and Ruby Marie; brother, Larry (Paula Jankowiak) Smerdon of Sanford; sisters, Denise (Michael) Rooker of Fairview, Karen Smerdon of Wheeler, Marilyn Smerdon of Milan, Barbara (Creston "Bud") Johnson of Harrison, Christine Thorton of Hope; 15 nieces and nephews; 19 great nieces and nephews.
