Dennis H. Terrill

Dennis H. "Spike" Terrill passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 due to leukemia and covid-19. He was born at the Midland Hospital to the late Charles "Buck" and Dorothy (Duel) Terrill on October 23, 1947. Dennis graduated from Bullock Creek High School in June of 1966 being the first graduating class to go all the way through the Bullock Creek Schools. He married Sally A. Beach on December 17, 1966 who survives him. Dennis was drafted into the Army in April of 1968, served 9 months in Vietnam, and was honorably discharded in January of 1971 as a Sgt. E-5. He worked for 30 years at the former Saginaw Steering Gear GM retiring October 1, 1997. Dennis had many interests including being a NASCAR fan, and watching his brother, nephew and great nephew race, riding motorcycles and snow machines. He also enjoyed working on cars, building cars including his pride and joy, a "55" Chevy, fishing, deer hunting, golfing, archery, and bowling. Dennis was a senior bowler in the year of 2010 and 2011. His family was named bowling family of the year in 2013. Dennis is also survived by his son, Trevor (Jennifer) Terrill; grandchildren, Hannah, Colin, and Maks; sisters, Diane (Michael) Stone, Lola "Sue" Terrill, Patricia West, and Kathleen Mackey; and brother, Charles "Mike (Jill) Terrill. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers, George (Lynda) Terrill, James (Julene) Terrill; and brother in-law, Tommy Mackey.

Per Dennis' wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm and on Friday from 10 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alumni Bullock Creek Scholarship, Red Cross Blood Bank, or Versiti Blood Center.
