Denise Lynn Rogers

Denise Lynn Rogers, age 43 of Midland died Wednesday, April 21, 2010. The daughter of Linda (Gilde) Cassaday was born on August 17, 1966 in Midland and graduated from Meridian Schools. Denise was born with disabilities that she dealt with courageously all of her life, including kidney disease, and received a kidney transplant in 1985. Denise loved her many animals and would take care of strays, along with owning her own pet care business. She loved her family and many friends.

Denise is survived by her mother, Linda (Gilde) Cassaday and her husband, Ronald of Hope; her father, Jonathan Rogers of AZ. She is also survived by her son, Carl Lee Rhonin of Midland; significant other, Steve Alexander; brothers, Kyle (Mary) Cassaday, Kevin (friend Kelli) Cassaday; sisters, Ruth Ann Rogers, Jacque (Jason) Adams and Janessa (Shane) Bremer; her grandmothers, Barbara Gilde and Irma Cassaday; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Leland and Alice Rogers; grandfathers, William Gilde and James Cassaday.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 24, 2010 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Charles Keyworth officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until time of service. Memorials may be offered to the Midland County Humane Society.
