Debra K. (Sochacki) Cass

Debra Kay Cass, age 66 of Midland, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side. The daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Merda) Sochacki was born February 28, 1955 in Bay City. On August 20, 1975, Debra married Timothy J. Cass. She worked as a floor supervisor when Target opened in Midland for ten years. Debra then went on to work as an assistant manager for Toys-R-Us for 5 years. After Toys-R-Us closed, she worked with Midland Animal Clinic until her retirement.

Debra will be remembered for the love she had for her family and spent as much time as she could with them. She was a faithful member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church and absolutely loved anything to do with golf.

She will be missed by her loving husband of 46 years, Timothy Cass of Midland; son, Eric (Erica) Cass of Freeland; daughter in-law, Samantha Cass of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Noah, Wyatt, Kollin, and Keagan; and her brother Rick (Pam) Sochacki. In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her son, Kyle Cass.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Assumption BVM Catholic Church. Father Joe Griffin will officiate with entombment to take place later at New Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 27,2021 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home and again on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the church from 10:00 am until the time of mass. Memorial contributions may be offered to Debra's family in care of Timothy Cass.
