Debra Ann Eisenhardt

Debra Ann Eisenhardt, age 66 of Sanford, died Saturday January 2, 2016 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland, The daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth (Snyder) Gorham was born in Midland on June 9, 1949. She graduated from Midland High School in 1967 and went on to Western Michigan University and then graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in 1986. Debra had been employed with The Dow Chemical Company until her retirement in 2010 after 39 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, doing embroidery, jigsaw puzzles, feeding & watching birds, and was very fond of many animals especially cats. Debra also enjoyed gardening and did have a title of Master Gardener. She worked part time for Greenery Nursery in Sanford. Debra was a member of the Mapleton Girls Club and the stitching sisters. She always had a wonderful smile and was a very kind and embracing person.

Surviving is her husband of 29 years Russell of whom she married on October 4, 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada; step son, Roy Eisenhardt of Sanford; brother, Thomas (Gloria) Gorham of Midland; sister, Gayle Ann (John) Blues of Midland; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Debra was preceded in death by son and daughter Edward Michael and Tammy Lynn Davis.

Funeral services for Debra will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday January 7, 2016 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd., Midland with Rev. Lisa Cook of Sanford United Methodist Church officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time service.
