David C. Stellmacher Jr., 73, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026.

Born to David and Matilda Stellmacher (Green), he was a lifelong resident of Midland County. Dave retired from the Dow Chemical Company, but retirement did not suit him well. He went on to drive bus for Head Start as well as working for Advance Auto.

He was an exceptional drummer, playing with many bands over the years. He enjoyed time with his family, riding motorcycles and taking care of his dogs.

He is survived by his sisters, Hazel and Helen; his daughters, Patti and Cindy; as well as 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He will also be missed by many other extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Dan and his son, Shawn.

Per the family’s wishes, cremation has already taken place, and a celebration of life will be planned at a later date. The Stellmacher family is being cared for by Wilson Miller Funeral Home.
