David Singer, age 83 of Sanford, passed away September 22, 2023 at his home. He was born in Detroit on December 4, 1939 to the late Victor and Valerie (Szydlowski) Singer. He served his country honorably with the United States Air Force from 1961 – 1965. On May 15, 1965, David married the former Diane Spezia and they shared 58 years together before his death.

Surviving are his wife, Diane Singer of Sanford; children, Michael (Jacquelyn) Singer of Green Bay, WI, Matthew (Elaine) Singer of Beaverton, MI, Amy (Jeffery) Webb of Hillsdale, MI; grandchildren, Morgan Singer, Devin (Stephanie) Singer, Garrett Singer, Valerie (Brice) Tepsa, Rachael Singer, Owen Webb, Samuel Webb, Aaron Webb; and sister, Diane Flo.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Our Lady of Hope Parish, 106 E. Wheaton Ave. Clare, MI 48617. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 – 8 pm at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640, and again on Friday at the church from 10 am until the time of Mass. The Rosary will be prayed on Thursday starting at 7pm at the funeral home. Private burial will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Personal messages of condolence maybe offered to the family at www.wilson-miller.com.
