David E. Rider

David E. Rider, age 66 of Gladwin, passed away Sunday evening, February 5, 2023 at his residence. The son of the late Arnold and Mae (Conley) Rider was born in Midland on December 25, 1956. Dave was a machine operator for many different construction companies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and working on cars. He truly was loved by his family and many great friends.

Surviving is his daughters, Amber (Justin) Counselman, Cindy Rider; sons, David (Stacey) Rider II, Aaron Rider; grandchildren, Angus, Owen, Mason, Leah, Austin, Dylan, Maggie, James, Alden, Hali, Louelen, and Gabriel; sisters, Susy Secrist, Ruth Seelye, Storm Rider, and Rose Hall; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and Arnold Rider; sister, Mary Watkins.

During his final days, David was well cared for by Maureen Hoyt and Allen (Amber) Earl. Per the wishes of Dave, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
