David Iafrate

David A. Iafrate, age 62 of Midland, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Tendercare of Mt. Pleasant.

The son of Zabel (Abrahamian) and the late George Iafrate was born July 19, 1949 in Detroit where he was raised and educated. David served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
On September 5, 1981, he married the former Barbara Knapp in Midland.

David is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, David (Mandy) Iafrate, II of Rogersville, TN, Dominick (Amber) Iafrate of Kingsport, TN, Lesslie (Cynthia) Iafrate of Midland; daughter, Clarrissia Iafrate of Midland; seven grandchildren; mother, Barbara Iafrate; brothers, Donald, George, and William Iafrate all of Coleman; sisters, Phyllistine Siegel of Coleman, Debra Spicer of Farwell, Lori Brown of Lansing, Susan Govitz of Coleman, Helen Iafrate of Coleman and Nancy Iafrate of Midland.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Monday, June 18, 2012 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Youmans of Lighthouse Body of Christ Church officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Township Cemetery with military honors provided by the U.S. Army and the Midland Area Veterans.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from noon until the time of service.
