Darla J. Mudd

God gained a very special angel Darla J. Mudd, age 63 of Midland, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning March 21, 2015 at MidMichigan Medical Center. The daughter of Erma (Babcock) and the late Donald Riggie was born in Midland on February 23, 1952. Darla was an amazing, wonderful, high spirited lady who was an inspiration to everyone. She loved spending time at her cabin in Oscoda. Darla loved her stepsons and their families very much especially her grandkids which held a very special place in her heart.

Surviving is her husband of 20 years Mitchell (sweet baby) Mudd of whom she married on March 4, 1995; stepsons, Joshua (Amy) Mudd, Nathan (Stephanie) Mudd; step grandchildren, Alyssa, Sylas, Liam & Dylan Mudd; her mother, Erma Riggie; sisters, Gilda (Lonnie) Laubscher, Dena (Moe) Vaziri, June (Kirk Jurn) Johnson; many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Darla life will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday March 25, 2015 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home 4210 N. Saginaw Rd with the Rev. Teal Saylor officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
