Dana E. Demsky

Dana E. Demsky, age 70 of Midland, passed away peacefully at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Dana was born on August 3, 1954 in Midland, Michigan to Edwin and Lois (Admets) Demsky. He worked as a security guard for the Midland Center for the Arts.

Dana married the late Onalee A. Rinn on September 29, 1979 and together they lovingly raised their sons, John and James Demsky. In addition to his children, Dana is survived by his mother, Lois Demsky; and brother, Rick Demsky. Dana enjoyed spending time with his family, playing guitar and video games in his spare time. He will be remembered for his compassion for his family and others. Dana is predeceased by his father, Edwin Demsky and his beautiful wife, Onalee.

Funeral services for Dana will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024 at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd, Midland, MI 48640. Father Rob Howe of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church will officiate with cremation to follow. Inurnment of his ashes will be in Midland City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service in the Miller Reception Room located at the funeral home.
