Courtney Lynne Welch

Courtney L. Welch, age 23 of Midland died at her residence on Thursday, November 15, 2012. The daughter of Jeffrey and Angela (Webster) Welch was born on August 10, 1989 in Lake Forest, IL. She was raised and educated in Midland, graduating from Midland High School in 2007. Courtney was a member of the Midland Evangelical Free Church and active with their youth group. She led a valiant life while encountering the effects of Cystic Fibrosis.

Courtney is survived by her daughter, Avery Asakevich of Midland; parents, Jeff and Angela; brothers, Tanner and Jacob Welch; grandparents, Jack & Kathleen Welch of Keller, TX, John & Chris Noteware of Davison, John & Nancy Webster of Gaylord, Susan Hayes of Grayling; great grandmothers, Roberta Webster and Betty Little; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.

A Celebration of Courtney's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 19, 2012 from the Midland Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Gib Giblin officiating. Memorials may be offered to Make a Wish or to the family. Arrangements are by the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
