Connie L. Sleeper

Connie L. Sleeper, age 64 of Midland, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center with her family by her side. The daughter of the late Clarence and Shirley (Coons) Strait was born August 30, 1956 in Midland. On June 18, 1994, Connie married Richard "Dick" Sleeper in Eaton Rapids. She loved her family very dearly and she will be sorely missed by all. Connie enjoyed bowling and playing board games.

Surviving is her husband of 26 years, Richard Sleeper; children, Hazel Green, Greg Gutierrez, August (Steve) Dice, Anna McCormick, and Carla (John) Hawthorne; step child, Tammy Sleeper; grandchildren, Adriana, Victor, Kevin, Devon, Nick, Jade, Jeremiah, Sasuke, and James; and brother, Clarence "Jr." Strait.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her brothers Dewey and Harvey Strait; and step daughter, Wendy Sleeper.
