Connie Lee Arthur

Connie Lee Arthur (Haag), 90, of Midland, Michigan, passed away peacefully in Midland on July 21, 2026.

Connie was born on September 28, 1935, in Midland to Harold and Myrtle Joy (Bartlett) Haag. She graduated from Midland High School with the Class of 1953. In 1955 she married William “Bill” Alfred Arthur, and together they built a life centered on family and home.

Before becoming a full-time homemaker in 1956, Connie worked at Dow Chemical Company. She took pride in caring for her family and creating a home where many memories were made.

Connie was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed following the Berryhill Post baseball team. She also looked forward to trips to the casino and treasured the many family vacations spent at Longboat Key, Florida. While she enjoyed traveling, she was just as happy spending time at home with those she loved.

Connie is survived by her son, Kevin Arthur, and daughter-in-law, Lori (Reedy) Arthur; her grandchildren, Travis Arthur and his wife, Olivia Tobias-Arthur, and Caitlin (Arthur) Shattuck and her husband, Russell Shattuck; and her beloved great-grandson, Wyatt Shattuck.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Arthur; her parents, Harold and Myrtle Joy (Bartlett) Haag; and her sister, Loy Michaels.

Connie will be remembered for her quick wit, her sassy sense of humor, and the love she had for her family. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Connie will be laid to rest in Midland Memorial Gardens with a private burial to take place. The Arthur family is being cared for by Wilson Miller Funeral Home.
