Claude B. "Bud" Ireland

Claude B. "Bud" Ireland, age 82 of Midland, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at his residence. The son of the late Howard K. and Marguerite (Kellogg) Ireland was born in Midland on April 2, 1935 where he was raised and educated. Bud had been employed as a pipefitter with The Dow Chemical Company for many years. He enjoyed anything to do with hunting; always keeping busy until the last years when dementia took its toll. Bud was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Surviving is his wife of 47 years the former Mildred Martin of whom he married on September 4, 1970 in Midland; Sons, Rick (Cheryl) Ireland, Ken Ireland; daughters, Dorie Donovan, Dawn (Wally) Heinrich, Deb (Jim) Green, Cindy (Ron) Conger, and Vicky (Dan) Finney; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral and committal services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, January 22, 2018 from the Poseyville United Methodist Church with Rev Lyn Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Poseyville Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials in Bud's name may be offered to Poseyville United Methodist Church. Personal messages of condolence may be left with the family at www.wilson-miller.com.
