Clarence Inman, age 87 of Auburn, passed away Saturday October 27, 2018 at the Toni and Trish House. The son of the late Charles and Frances (Latoski) Inman was born in Midland on October 6, 1931 where he was raised and educated. Clarence had been employed with Dow Chemical Co. in the service department until his retirement in 1985 after 35 years of employment. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Freeland, enjoyed hunting in the UP, bowling, playing golf, repairing cars, traveling and going to the casino and enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife of 67 years the former Gladys M. Powell of whom he married on April 21, 1951 in St. Anthony Church, Fisherville; children, Kathleen (Daniel) LaBonte of Auburn, Suzanne (Robert) Rivard of Linwood, Teresa (Ted) Gorkowski of Midland, Wayne Inman of Auburn; George Inman of Midland; grandchildren, Rachel (Steve) Pfundt, Bridget (Jim) Walz, Scott (Jeanine) Huckins, Rachel Rivard, Jonathan Rivard, Marisa Rivard, Matthew Rivard, Morgan Rivard, Tyler Gorkowski, Trudi (Wayne) Kuch, Sean Inman; 13 great grandchildren; brother in law, Ray Shindorf of Walled Lake, Michgian; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Clarence was preceded in death by many siblings.
Funeral Liturgy for Clarence will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday November 2, 2018 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Freeland with Fr. Robert Gohm officiating. Family will receive guests at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Thursday November 1, 2018 from 4 until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to the St. Agnes Catholic Church or the Toni and Trish House.
