Charles Presley Scribner, age 83 of Frankenmuth and formerly of Midland, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at MediLodge of Frankenmuth. The son of the late Franklin P. and Mary B. (Lawder) Scribner was born April 14, 1938 in Caraway, Arkansas. On February 21, 1970, he married the former Diana Little in Midland. In his younger years, Chuck enjoyed gold glove boxing, baseball, and other sports. His love for fishing and mushrooming led him on many adventures, his most treasured trips being the ones taken to Brimley, Michigan with his family.

He owned and operated a drywall and painting business for many years.

Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Diana Scribner; children Tammy Scribner, Dan (Toni) Scribner, Chuck (Denise) Scribner Jr. and Debbie Scribner; grandchildren, Kyle, Danielle, Emiley, Josh, Zack, Al, Michael, Jessie and Shannon; great grandchildren, Donovan, Ryder, and Catherine; siblings, Donnie and Larry Scribner, Gloria (Jim) Tucker, along with many nieces, nephews and other family members.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his brothers, Leonard, Frank, Jerry, Lowell, Jimmie, Bill, Freddie Scribner and sister, LaVina Thomason.

Services to celebrate Chuck's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Lunch will also be served during the visitation. Memorial contributions may be offered to MediLodge of Frankenmuth.
