Charles Lee Pyron

Charles Lee Pyron, age 85 of Midland died Monday, December 05, 2011 at his residence.
The son of the late John E. and Ruth (Johnson) Pyron was born June 30, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA. Charles was raised and educated in Pennsylvania and New York graduating from Oakmont High School in 1943 and received his Bachelor's degree in Science from Allegany College in PA in 1950. He served in the US Army as a Tech Sgt for an Artillery Gun Battery during WWII.
In the early 60's Charles moved to Midland and then to Saginaw where he married Jeanne Matson, on February 14, 1986. Jeanne predeceased him June 15, 2008.
Charles had worked for the Dow Chemical Co. as a Business Systems Manager, retiring in 1988 after 38 years of dedication. After retirement he was a consultant of many businesses. He authored books on business coding systems.
Charles appreciated fine rock and roll music and had built an extensive stereo system to accommodate this love. He enjoyed camping and traveling and had wintered for many years in Florida.

Mr. Pyron is survived by son, Charles (Lisa) Pyron, Jr of Novoto, CA and step son Tom Luttenbacher of Mio; daughters, Dr. Carol Pyron and her husband Ken Robinson, Linda McCurdy, Karen Pyron, Susan Pyron step daughter Teresa (Larry) Connor of Gurnee, IL; grandchildren; brothers, John Pyron, Jr., George Pyron; and sister, Anne Sheehan. He will also be missed by long time friends and care givers, Rich and Connie Yerman, who would like to express their gratitude for the care he received at Clover Cottage. Memorials may be offered to the City Rescue Mission of Saginaw.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been arranged through the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home where there will be no visitation or services.
