Charles R. Malenfant, age 70 of Midland, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at his home. He was born in Saginaw on December 31, 1952 to the late Richard C. and Helen M. (Moon) Malenfant. Charlie worked for many years as a Postal Carrier and was a member of St. Brigid's Catholic Church.
Charlie will be remembered for his ability to remember historical events, especially shipwrecks. He enjoyed bowling and was quite fond of cars, including his 69' Chevelle's. Charlie had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed watching Sci Fi movies.&
Surviving are his children, C.J. Malenfant and Jennifer (Jason) Ripple; grandson, Daniel Ripple; siblings, Thomas Malenfant, Ellen (Gary) Zieroff, and Janet (Jerome) Sizick; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Malenfant; brother, John Malenfant.
Funeral services for Charlie will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:30 pm until the time of service. Private burial will take place in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Auburn. Memorial contributions may be offered to Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund or the Autism Alliance of Michigan.
