Charlene A. Macy

Charlene A. Macy, age 74, born on March 20, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Charles and Anna (LaRocca) Wayman, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, in Midland, Michigan.

Charlene is lovingly remembered by her children, Lena (Alan) Schomer, Christopher (Debra) Sliva, and Kenneth (Andrea) Sliva; her cherished grandchildren, Jayde (Conner), Kain, Gabby, Arin, Zachary, and Alexander; her sister, Anna Brumfield; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael Macy; and her sister, Jennie Pospishel.

Charlene found joy in spending time with her family and had a passion for cooking. She also enjoyed visiting casinos, playing bingo cards, going camping, listening to country music, and watching television. Her compassionate and loving nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A funeral service to honor Charlene's life will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Wilson Miller Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Charlene’s memory may be made to an organization of one’s choice.
