Catherine G. Teal

Catherine G. Teal, age 60 of Midland died Saturday August 20, 2011 at the Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City. The daughter of Catherine M. (Bettesworth) Teal and the late H. Delos Teal was born on August 11, 1951 in Saginaw and was raised and educated in Midland, graduating from Midland High School in 1969. Cathy continued her education at Michigan State University, obtaining her BS degree. She taught pre-school for a short time and later worked as a dental hygienist for many years. Cathy was also trained in massage therapy and became a state licensed and certified acupuncturist and owned and operated Body Balancing in Midland. Cathy was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. Through her generous and loving ways she helped many friends in need.

Cathy is survived by her mother, Catherine M. Teal, brother Larry (Lucille) Teal of Midland, sister Marjorie C. Teal and her husband Frank Leimbek of Encinitas, CA. She is also survived by 3 nieces, 2 nephews, and 4 great grand nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering time for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with a memorial service conducted by Mr. Larry Teal at 1:00pm. Memorials may be offered to the Chippewa Nature Center.
