Carole Lee (Crosby) Bradshaw, age 71 of Midland passed away peacefully at her home on Mother's Day, May 8, 2011 after a year long battle with cancer, attended by her beloved son, Timothy Bradshaw, his companion Kay Lang, and her grandson, Mitchell.

Carole was born July 7, 1939 in Edenville, the daughter of the late Cecil Vernon and Ada Marie (Havens) Crosby. Growing up on Wixom Lake she graduated from Cedar Lake Academy and Central Michigan University. She retired from the Dow Chemical Company serving many years in the Retirement Department.
Carole was a dedicated home maker maintaining a warm and loving environment for her family and friends. She loved her flower gardens, especially her pink roses and finished every day with her cross word puzzle.

She is survived by her son, Timothy Bradshaw; two loving grandchildren, Mitchell Bradshaw and LeAnne Bradshaw; and their mother, Karen Sinn. The delights of her last two years were her great grandchildren, Nevaeh Bradshaw and Cameron Bradshaw.
Also surviving are two brothers, Wendell "Bing" (Lois) Crosby, James A. (Ellen) Crosby; four sisters, Shirley (Max) Guernsey, Rose Steele, Doris Steele, Marlene Yager Schultz (Gerald); two aunts, Dorothy Crosby Greanya, Kay Havens Parsons; and many nieces and nephews who found their aunt Carole special.

She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers in law, Richard Steele and Floyd Steele.

Visitation for Carole will be at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-7 pm. Private burial will be in Homer Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be offered to the Cedar Lake Boarding Academy.
