Carol I. Trader

Carol I. Trader, age 83 of Midland, died Thursday morning June 16, 2016 at Brittany Manor. The daughter of the late Noah A. and Belle (Valentine) Mast was born in Fairview, Michigan on November 29, 1932 where she was raised and educated. She attended Midland Baptist Church, enjoyed playing bingo, reading, cooking and working in her garden and with flowers. On January 12, 1952 Carol married Charles J. "Mick" Trader and after 60 years of marriage he died on January 12, 2012.

Surviving are her sons, Roger (Laura) Trader, James (Deirdre) Trader all of Midland; grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Paul, Aimee, Daniel, Mark, Jason, Timmy, Claire, Lilah and Sophea; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Beatrice Kinde, Leatha Curtis, Virginia Altman, Gladys Ranger all of Midland, Patricia Wilson of Fairview; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Carol was preceded in death by brother, Gerald and Harold Mast; sisters, Lottie Hodges, Margaret Kaufman, Ruth Pagliasotti and Iva Ross.

Funeral services for Carol will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 21, 2016 at Midland Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Midland City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home 4210 N. Saginaw Rd Midland on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
