Carl F. Timmons, age 89 of Midland, died Monday evening September 3, 2012 at his residence. The son of the late George and Leila (Copus) Timmons was born in Midland on February 25, 1923. Carl served in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed with Dow Corning as a machinist until retiring in 1977 after 30 years of service. Carl enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking and remote control airplanes. He was a member of the Dow Corning Retirees Club.
   
   
   Surviving is his wife of 62 years the former, Alice Feusse of whom he married on September 9, 1950 in Midland; his children, Gary Timmons of Maryland, Karen (Brian Williams) Wilson of Otisville, Michigan, Thomas (Diane) Timmons of Okeechobee, Florida, Sue (Bob) Wooley of Golden, Colorado, Paula (David) Church of Midland; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeremy, Mike, Erin, Matt, Amy, Joey and Josh; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Don) Varner. In addition to his parents Carl was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Timmons.
   
   
   Per the wishes of Carl cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Memorials maybe offered to Senior Service of Midland 4700 Dublin, Midland or Hospice Advantage 401 Center Ave Bay City, Mi 48708. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
