C. Bruce Lamee

C. Bruce Lamee, age 91 years of Midland, passed away Wednesday September 22, 2021 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland. The son of the late Cecil B. and Lucille M. (Millhisler) Lamee, Sr. was born in Midland on April 18, 1930. Bruce had been employed with The Dow Chemical Company as a pipefitter until retiring in 1985. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, going for bike rides, auction sales and to his cabin up north.

Surviving is his wife of 73 years, the former Hazel I. Noack of whom he married on December 27, 1947; children, Jeannette (Dallan) Buschman of Arizona, Gary (Connie) Lamee of Owosso, Sue Lamee of Midland, Dan (Pam) Lamee of Midland, Angela (John) McGuire of Alabama; daughter in law, Jeanne Lamee; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Lamee and Audrey (Ron) Southerland both of Texas; daughter in law, Kay Smith of Ohio; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by son, David Lamee; brother, Jack Lamee; sister, Verna Lamee. A special thank you to Bruce's caretakers Sherry, Mary, Kathy and Tina for the wonderful care given to him.

A celebration of Bruce's life will take place 4:00 p.m. Saturday October 2, 2021 at Midland Missionary Church with Eric Smith officiating. Family will receive guests at the church on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be offered to the organization of one's choice.
