Bryce R. Reischling

Bryce R. Reischling, age 75 of Midland died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Mid Michigan Medical Center. The son of the late Homer and Wilva (Johnson) Reischling was born January 26, 1934 in Holly, Michigan. As a youth, Bryce was taught to hook rugs which he then sold. He worked at the Arnold Center until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and especially being able to travel to the Gulf of Mexico for fishing trips. He resided at the Mitchell House for the past seventeen years having previously been cared for by his parents.

Bryce is survived by brothers, Bruce E. (Anna) Reischling of Lake, James D. (Patricia) Reischling of Swartz Creek; sister, Lois Perepeluk of Sanford; many nieces and nephews; and caregiver, Ralph Schlib.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with the Reverend Wayne Shidler officiating. Interment will follow in Sanford Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to the Arnold Center.
