Brittany Amanda Haner

Brittany Amanda Haner, age 30, passed away September 21, 2022 at her home in Houston, Texas. She was born December 21, 1990 in Midland to Douglas Haner and Kelly (Crook) Schwind. When she was young, Brittany went to live in Vero Beach, Florida where she graduated from high school with her class in 2010. She travelled wherever her heart took her and made many friends along the way. She had made many trips to see the Florida Gators, her favorite team, play in person.

Brittany will be remembered for the way she cared about people. She did so in many capacities from being a registered nurse to helping care for those at Treasure Coast Compassionate Care as a Medical Assistant. Pressa Ann, Brittany's faithful dog, was by her side wherever Brittany went. The two had a special bond and Brittany made sure Pressa had the best life.

Surviving is her dad, Douglas Haner; sister, Savanah Haner; beloved dog, Pressa Ann; step father, Jake Schwind; step sister, Cassie Schwind; step brothers, Jacob Schwind and Joshua Pleune; grandma, Linda Wells; grandpa, Mark Shangle; uncles, Jason and Johnny Haner; along with many nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kelly Schwind; grandfather, John Haner Sr.; and step grandma, Christine Haner.

Services to celebrate Brittany's life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 pm until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Brittany's family in care of Doug Haner to help with funeral expenses.
