Brian L. Shuler age, 71 of Midland died at his residence on Saturday, July 4, 2015. The son of the late Ray and Bertha (Frost) Shuler was born on July 23, 1943 in Midland where he was raised and educated. On September 25, 1971 he married the former Caroline Bray in Midland. Brian worked for the City of Midland prior to working for Saginaw Steering Gear for thirty years, retiring in 1998. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Brian is survived by his wife Carol; son Brian Scott Shuler of Freeland, daughter Kay Cunningham of Hope and son Joseph (Melissia) Shuler of Hope; eight grandchildren Brandon, Lauren, Stephanie, Taylor, Joseph, Matthew, Jordan Shuler and Hannah Cunningham; sister Joy (David) Schneider of Ft. Collins, Colorado; and sister-n-law Jean Shuler.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Charles Shuler.
As per Brian's wishes cremation has taken place. Memorials may be offered to Aldersgate United Methodist Church or to Mid Michigan Home Health Care (Hospice). Arrangements are by the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
