Brian S. Blevins, age 72, of Hale, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 6, 1953, at the Fort Leavenworth Military Base in Kansas, to the late Dennis and Janet Blevins.
On June 8, 1974, Brian married Joanne (Draves) Blevins in Edenville, Michigan. Together they shared a life filled with love and raised a wonderful family. Brian is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne; daughters, Sheri Blevins, Christy (Mike) Cummings, and Shelly Infante (Shawn); grandchildren, Marissa, Andrew, and Justin Infante and Lawson and Colton Cummings; and his brother, Terry (Lynn) Blevins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and his cherished friends from Sage Lake. In addition to his parents, Brian is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Blevins.
Brian dedicated 35 years of service to Dow Security and was a lifelong member of Sanford United Methodist Church. He found joy in golfing, hunting, and bowling and displayed a remarkable talent for construction and carpentry, often remodeling his family home. A devoted father, Brian coached his daughters in softball during their youth. Above all else, he treasured time spent with family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sanford United Methodist Church, located at 2560 N. West River Road, Sanford, MI 48657. Pastor Reed Swanson will officiate. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will be held at the church immediately following.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, Gift of Life, or to the Special Olympics in honor of Brian. The Blevins family is being cared for by Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
