Brent C. Simstad

Brent C. Simstad, age 48 of Midland, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019 at his residence. The son of Linda L. Atkins was born March 15, 1970 in Saginaw. Brent graduated from Swan Valley High School where he was a quarter back for the football team who referred to him as the "Fridge". He loved music, playing in the band Exploding Zombies. Brent was an MSU and Detroit Lions fan. He had a deep love for animals and was a very hard worker.

Brent is survived by his mother, Linda (William) Atkins; sister, Heather Smith; special friend, Linda Zazo; and his best friend and beloved dog Tank.

He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Simstad; grandfather, Harlan Loos who always called him slugger; and his grandma Betty Loos.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Brent's life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, February 25, 2019 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. His family will be saying the eulogy and wish friends to bring a special memory to share. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
