Bonnie L. Strayer

Bonnie L. Strayer, age 77 of Midland, died Saturday March 28, 2015 at MidMichigan Strattford Village. The daughter of the late Walter and Leita (Huggard) Timmons was born in Midland on June 3, 1937 where she was raised and educated. She was a member of Floyd Church of God, was an avid Detroit Tigers Fan, enjoyed doing puzzles, knitting and fishing. In her earlier years Bonnie was a foster mother to over 50 infants. On April 16, 1954 in Midland Bonnie married Ernest "Ernie" Strayer and after 50 years of marriage he died on December 7, 2004.

Surviving is her children, Mike (Susan) Strayer of Sanford, Sheryl (Eugene) Dana of Coleman, Mark (Natalie) Strayer of Rockford; son in law, Lee Mose of Coleman; grandchildren, Jennifer (Joe) Rubenacker, Christopher Strayer, Angie (Alan) McCulagh, Nick (Amanda) Strayer, Leslie Wood, Corey Mose, Jessie (Mike) Donahue, Justin Mose, Rachel (Travis) Aultman, Megan (Tyler) Griswold, Chris (Megan) Dana, Abbie (Michael) Lapere, Jonah and Eden Strayer; 21 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Mullett. In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Mose; granddaughter, Kayla Brugger; brother, Walter.

Funeral services for Bonnie will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 2, 2015 at Floyd Church of God with Rev. William Caroffino officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. in Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Family will receive friends at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home 4210 N. Saginaw Rd Midland on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
