Bonnie E. Neiner

Bonnie E. Neiner, age 72 of Sanford, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Mid-Michigan Medical Center. The daughter of the late John H. and Helen B. (Yack) McCann was born on June 18, 1945 in Midland where she graduated from Midland High School. On September 14, 1985, Bonnie married Marc Neiner. After 20 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on March 26, 2006. She worked for Dow Chemical Company in administration for 34 years. Bonnie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 443 of Sanford and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3677 of Sanford. She enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing, painting, gardening, and was an animal lover.

Bonnie is survived by her brother, Jack (Jan) McCann; sisters, Margaret Daniels, Helen (Jim) Brubaker, and Kathy (Garno) Hair; sister in-law, Sharon (Don) Boxey; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Janice Keenon, Cheryl Stark, Mary Jo Lutz, Linda Knaus, Lucy Smith, Doug and Ruth Ann from Sid's Party Store and her beloved cat Emma. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers in-law, Art Daniels, Jerry Garno and Rod Hair.
The family of Bonnie would like to thank the staff at Mid-Michigan Medical Center of Midland for the compassionate care they gave her.

A celebration of Bonnie's life will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Deacon Aloysius Oliver officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Private inurnment will take place next to her husband in St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery.
