Bonneta I. Allen

Bonneta Irene Allen, age 91, of Midland, Michigan, passed away peacefully January 29, 2025 at her home. Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of the late Stanley and Lillian (Church) Martin. Bonnie was a woman of many talents and passions. She loved to crochet and found joy in creating beautiful works with her hands. A gifted musician, she played numerous instruments and expressed herself through poetry and published a book at the remarkable age of 87.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Perry (Danette) Allen, Craig (Sylvia) Allen, Becky (Lyle) Fulton, and Penny Dowker; her brother, John Tripp; and her sisters, Darlene Woodcock, Linda (Tom) Laughton, and Julie (Tim) Metzger. Bonnie also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Brian Allen; son in law Daniel Dowker; brother, Larry Tripp; and sister, Bonnie Kay Hulburt.

Her funeral service will take place 2:00pm on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Midland Missionary Church, 479 S. 11 Mile Rd. Midland, MI 48640. Pastor David Kissinger will officiate with interment to follow in Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, located at 4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640 and at the church on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.  Donations may be made to an organization of ones choosing.
