Betty D. Sheneberger

Betty D. Sheneberger, age 88 of Midland, passed away Wednesday July 25, 2018 at her residence. The daughter of the late Dale and Pearl (McKee) Rossell was born in Monmouth, Illinois. Betty was a 1952 graduate of Monmouth College where she earned her degree in teaching. She taught pre-school at Epworth Preschool in Midland. Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church, PEO Chapter CE, King's Daughters, and Pi Beta Phi Sorority and did volunteer work at MidMichigan Medical Center. On June 27, 1953, Betty married Jack L. Sheneberger in Monmouth, Illinois and after 63 years of marriage he died on February 22, 2017.

Surviving Betty is her son, Jeffrey (Jane) Sheneberger; daughter, Joyce (Dale) Engman; grandchildren, Jennifer Sheneberger, Paul (Melissa Kitts) Engman, and Ryan Engman.

A celebration of Betty's life will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday August 8, 2018 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Maxwell officiating. Family will receive guests at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be offered in Betty's name to PEO Chapter CE or the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund.
