Betty L. Mcgowen

Betty Anderson McGowan, age 83 of Midland. Betty was born on September 8, 1937 to William and Bessie Topper in Valparaiso, Indiana. She passed away on January 8, 2021 in Midland, Michigan with her granddaughters singing hymns by her side as she requested. Betty loved music, art, laughter, family and God. Betty leaves behind her children, Joseph (Rochelle) Anderson, James Anderson, Jackie (Terry) Turner and Randall (Valerie) Stephens, 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, her husbands, Lee Anderson and Lester McGowan as well as her grandson, Jacob Anderson. There will be no service per Betty's request. Her family would like to thank the staff and providers on the COVID floor of MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland, Brookdale Assisted Living and Regency Retirement Village of Huntsville for the loving care that was provided during the last years and days of Betty's life.
